We will be meeting on Monday, May 17 at 8pm at Andrea Mitchell's house. Let me know if you need directions.
There is a small part of our group that will be meeting on a weekday morning at 10am in the Youngsville area to accomodate more people's schedules. Please let me know if this would be more preferable to you.
CAN'T WAIT to start this adventure...!!!

Where to go...?
So Ladies, the overwhelming response both in comments here and otherwise has been that Mondays at 8pm are good.
There have been many people who have said that they don't think that they will be able to make it every single week. First of all, the same goes for me, but I just want to make the note that you should still plan on doing the reading daily because catching up would be VERY DIFFICULT to do. Secondly, it sounds like there are some husbands who travel or work on Monday nights and that child care would be the reason you couldn't come. I want to throw this out there that if people would be willing to go to different houses, we could make arrangements to meet at your house if you wouldn't have been able to come otherwise on a given night. In fact, somebody pointed out that there are 14 weeks, and just over 14 of us doing this study...I'm just sayin'. :) It does not HAVE to be at my house every week, although I would be happy to have you here! Thirdly, if there are people who can't make it to the Monday night meeting on occasion, I would like to see if we could have a "make-up" session with the people who couldn't make it so that you can still be encouraged, have a little fellowship, and see the video.
All this being said, please take a look at your calendar in advance and see what your Mondays between now and the middle of August look like. Make note if you are going to be unavailable, or if you couldn't come because of child care issues. We will try to plan ahead and sort as much of this out at our first meeting on MONDAY, MAY 17 at 8pm at my house...unless we need to meet somewhere else.
Knowing that Monday is our official "DAY 1" you may consider starting your reading a little early, just so that you can start off on the right foot and not feel behind at the end of our meeting. The daily reading is 12 pages in the "official" (not required) 90 Days Bible. Here's what that looks like:
Day 1 begin with Genesis 1:1
Day 2 begin with Genesis 17:1
Day 3 begin with Genesis 28:20
Day 4 begin with Genesis 40:12
Day 5 begin with Exodus 1:1
Day 6 begin with Exodus 15:19
Day 7 begin with Exodus 29:1
Don't let this scare you off...we will be in it together!! :)

Monday Nights?
Okay, nobody has commented, and I'm not sure why. I am going to throw out Monday nights at 8:00pm as an option for our weekly meetings. Can you make it? Let me know...try leaving a comment here. (You can do it "anonymously" without signing up for anything new.)
Our first meeting will be at my house on Monday, May 17th. Our 14th meeting will be on August, 16! We can discuss details like Memorial Day and 4th of July holiday when we all get together.
Looking forward to the next 90 Days!! :)

Are you ready?!?
What I did on my Summer Vacation:
Read the Bible cover to cover!
(That's what I am hoping to be able to say by the middle of August!)
The responses that I got to the idea of reading the Bible in 90 days were definitely varied, but there were many who decided to accept this challenge! (Hooray!) Fear not, you won't be going it alone! There will be encouragement along the way and times of fellowship once a week to ask questions, share insights, and motivate you to stay on track.
The materials have been ordered. I will keep you posted on their anticipated arrival! :) Our official "Day 1" (of 90!) will be the day of our first meeting. I feel strongly that God wants each of you to be in this group, rising to successfully complete this challenge this summer. I know that He will make a way for the scheduling of this to work out. Each of the 14 sessions is planned to be roughly 60 minutes long. Considering that we will each be squeezing in roughly an hour of Bible reading each day, we will try to stay close to the 1 hour plan. :)
Please leave a comment below as to when you can (or can't) meet. Day or night? Day session would mean child care needs to be addressed, night session implies after their bedtime. Also, please "become a follower" of this blog...that way you will be notified via email when there are updates, and we can all keep up with each other here!
Well...this is going to be quite an adventure, that's for sure! Are you ready?!?
